The iconic fashion house Karl Lagerfeld invited the London based street-artist Endless to collaborate ona collection of premium sweatshirts and t-shirts for men and women, with launch scheduled for November 2019, making Endless the first British artist to collaborate with the mark from the time of Lagerfeld’s departure.

Endless

As a tribute to the fashion icon, Endless has created a series of paintings on display at the Cris Contini Contemporary Gallery, inaugurated on the day of the capsule collection launch. Endless greeted Lagerfeld as “one of the key creative talents of our time” with the
“Endless Karl” exhibition in which the artist presents 12 unique works of their kind.

The English street artist has established himself as one of the most interesting talents on the art and fashion scene for his vibrant and stimulating work. The capsule collection is the perfect combination of Endless’s daring and surprising pieces with the iconic Lagerfeld streetwear and its chic Parisian aesthetic.

The launch of the collection is not the first opportunity for collaboration between Endless and Karl Lagerfeld. Already in 2015, the artist included Lagerfeld in his street-art, recognising his immense influence in fashion and representing him as a photographer and a full artist.

After noticing his art in Amsterdam, Karl Lagerfeld’s team approached him and started a series of great collaborations. In particular, Endless immortalised Lagerfeld in a large-scale installation at Pitti Immagine Uomo SS20.

Recently, Endless was one of 50 global talents selected to create a bespoke white shirt for the “Tribute to Karl Lagerfeld” project in September 2019. This event marks the last successful collaboration in the history of Endless and of the Karl Lagerfeld brand after the great success of this year during Pitti Uomo and, more recently, for the White Shirt project.
