Who are we? Answer forbidden to conformistsby Ferruccio Gard

Who are we? Where do we come from? Where are we going? Those are the everlasting questions that the human kind has always been asking themselves. It’s the greatest mystery but now we’re waiting for some spark by Marina Abramovic, the worldrenowned artist and famous for her spectacular, brave, bold, and deeply profound performances on the tragical human vicissitudes. Abramovic is preparing in Manchester (and from there to the rest of the world) Balkan Erotic Epic with 70 performers including dancers who will unleash erotic rituals (pornographic only for the conformist bourgeois) inspired to ancient uses of the Balkan countries, Rom, and Sinti cultures. Abramovic’s objective is to investigate the relationship between sexuality and the universe to gain instructions on the meaning of our existence and death, and in doing that, she employes poetry, pain, sorrow, and hope. The idea is brilliant and, perhaps, it might lead to some result. Would you like to try it on? You, women and men of any age (minors are excluded) go chasing one another, naked on the grass and in the forest, speaking about love, death and, with some optimism, of the thereafter! Without hesitation, hold on to one another and, let’s say, look at the sky, praying to receive an answer to the three crucial questions. Any result? Perhaps… Especially if you succeed to have the cellphone of great and genius Marina. As long as you’re not conformists.
